Mass Participation

The Community Sports Programmes aims to increase participation in sport and physical activity, while also improving the health and wellbeing of individuals.

Programmes such as this help to build community cohesion through increased participation of children, young adults and adults in areas of high social need and groups traditionally marginalised in sport.

In 2018 our objective in this programme of activities is to build community capacity, to get to a point where the community groups and volunteers feel confident to develop, deliver and promote sport and physical activity programmes.
