Limerick Sports Partnership are encouraging sporting club and organisations in Limerick city and county to show their support by signing up to the Sports Inclusion Disability Charter.

SPORTSABILITY INFORMATION:

Many People with diasabilties are precluded from participating in sports and physical activity.

The Sports Inclusion Disabiltiy Officer Programme helps to address the imbalance in opportunities for people with disabilties to particpate in Sport and Physical Activity through working in partnership with all stakeholders.

DISABILITY FORUM:

The Sports Partnership have developed a Disability Forum which we see as a strong link between the LSP and disability clubs/organisations in Limerick City and County.

Representatives will tackle issues of mutual interest, discover methods of overcoming problems and identify best practice.  The Disability Forum allows for better communication between disability clubs/organisations and acts as a coordinated voice for local level disability clubs/organisations throughout Limerick.
