The Women on Wheels programme is a 12 week women only cycling programme where female cyclists are provided with progression training from 0 to 50k in order to complete a cycling challenge either the Tour de Burren in June or another event in September. The programme will begin on 3rd April for 12 weeks and then again in August for 10 weeks.
The group meet every Monday and some Saturdays to complete distances from 20k to 40k. Instruction is given on bike maintenance, nutrition, fitness, gear change, hill climbing and descending throughout the programme.
